Money
So, thanks to my friend Melissa, I got to be a part of a little financial planning overview at our local Edward Jones. Our babysitter fell through so my wife couldn’t make it.
It was very good. I definitely learned a few things and will pivot how I invest a bit. Actually I might have to make more money in order to pivot.
You know, I’d like to have a lot of money. And if I had a lot, maybe I wouldn’t tell anybody. Keep it on the down low but be able to make a difference in the world. Maybe I already have a lot of money and I’m just writing this to throw everybody off? The East Branch Library is naming their new wing after my wife*… (*they build it with all our overdue fines.)
Turns out, avoiding overdue fines is something Edward Jones advises.
Hey, I even won a book at the thing. The Richest Man in Babylon. Kinda makes sense that I won it since I was the only guy there. The girls won Edward Jones water bottles.
But seriously I’m theming this week as “Financial Week”. Really trying to get a handle on finances before they get a handle on me. Okay, that doesn’t sound serious enough but you get the idea.
