A day of visitors

Hope you’re having a good weekend.  What a beautiful day today!

We had some visitors this Saturday. First, of the the unexpected variety. It’s that time of year when you hear them outside. One of those sounds of Summer, the song of the cicada. I’ve seen their abandoned larva shells before — a freaky sight indeed — but I’ve never seen one up close and personal. Our next set of visitors were of the human variety. Erik, Jeannine, and their beautiful daughter Mia stopped by today. It was the first time we got to meet Mia and is she ever a cutie.  And ever so much more cute than our first visitor:
